What is K.E.W.T ?

The Kele Effluent and Wastewater Treatment (K.E.W.T.) System system was developed by the Plant Sciences Group at Central Queensland University (CQU) and is being commercially marketed through GBG Project Management.

The system provides a number of options for the onsite treatment and disposal of all effluent.

Option 1
Inground treatment and disposal of all effluent

Option 2
Inground treatment and disposal of effluent with up to 40% recycled effluent suitable for sub surface irrigation.

Option 3
Inground treatment and disposal of effluent with up to 40% recycled effluent suitable for above ground use using disinfection process

Greenbank State  School Project

Greenbank State School

Over the 2005/06 Christmas school holiday break, GBG successfully installed the first school based K.E.W.T. system at the Greenbank State School site.


Greenbank Pre School Project

Beachmere Sands Retirement Resort

GBG was contracted by People First to install the K.E.W.T. system at the Beachmere Sands Retirement Resort (north of Brisbane) which, when completed, will be the largest of its kind in Aust.

Stage 1 is under construction with 123 units and by the end of the project there will be more than 1,400 units, community center, bowling green etc.
